Mahalo Ohana 100!

Ohana100 is promoting literacy in several ways. These include providing free new and gently used books to kids and organizations as well as supporting literacy initiatives in local communities. With help from dedicated volunteers, Ohana100 is able to provide services to many children in Hawaii! Thank you for partnering with Palolo School!

Important social, psychological, and physical skills and abilities are developed and reinforced throughout the Girls on the Run program led by Mrs. Reed and Ms. Tierney.

Mahalo Hawaiian Hope!

Hawaiian Hope visited Palolo Elementary School with a special opportunity to give every student a full computer system to take home. These computers are not on loan, but a personal gift for students to keep, learn on and have fun with.

Speech Festival

Congratulations to the students of Palolo Elementary who participated in the Speech Festival! The event helps students in grades 3 through 6 develop and showcase their verbal communication skills and techniques. Grade 4: Youth Voices

In September 2016, students in Grade 4 collaborated and worked on an online project (Youth Voices: International Union for Conservation (IUCN)) in collaboration with the East West Center. Students were asked to share significant environmental happenings as well as their thoughts about world conservation. The focus of our students' project centered on STEM and how they are "taking care of this place."
